An adventurous morning in the heart of nature – exploring the world of bees. On May 25, in celebration of Children’s Day, the ErdőTekergők team invites families to a special nature walk in Farkas Forest, where children and parents alike can discover the fascinating life of bees through playful yet meaningful activities.
The inspiration behind the walk is World Bee Day on May 20, a reminder of how essential bees are to the ecosystem. During the guided adventure, participants will explore the forest with a real map, stopping at ten stations where they’ll learn about bee families, pollination, and how we can support these hardworking insects. Through engaging, hands-on challenges that strengthen the parent-child bond, children will connect with nature and gain knowledge in a fun and memorable way. The walk ends with a small treasure hunt and a shared picnic-style snack in the forest clearing.
The program is recommended for children as young as 1.5–2 years who can walk independently, and remains exciting for preschoolers and school-age kids as well. The path is suitable for strollers and balance bikes, making it accessible even for the smallest adventurers.

– Meeting point: Parking lot next to Szilas Multisport Base (1048 Budapest, Óceánárok Street 8)
– Location: Farkas Forest, District IV, Budapest
Participation fee: 9500 HUF / family
(3500 HUF of which is a non-refundable deposit required to secure registration)
The fee includes the 2.5-hour themed walk, a small gift, and a forest picnic snack for everyone.
Participation is limited to 12 families, so advance registration and deposit payment are required. In case of bad weather, the event will be rescheduled.
