Have you always wondered how Bach’s Tocata in D minor sounds on the Müpa’s organ? Ever wondered what it was like to sit in monumental cathedrals and enjoy music? In Müpa Budapest’s new series, entitled Karzatkoncert – organ sound in a new dimension, you will not only experience the unique sound of one of the world’s greatest concert hall organs, but also see the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall in a completely different light.

László Fassang, the organist in residence at Müpa Budapest, who himself helped to design our organ, is the creator and first performer of the Karzatkoncertek, and on the following occasions the most promising representatives of the new generation of organists, Zsuzsa Németh, Alan Zsilka and Péter Mekis, will show the audience the music they would take with them to a desert island.
