Margaret Island album launch concert

This weekend, one of the most influential ensembles in the Hungarian music scene will perform at the Hungarian House of Music. And to the delight of their fans, Margaret Island have a new album for the year 2024. Don’t miss out on this great evening and get your tickets soon!

Margaret Island will celebrate its 10th birthday in 2024, and to mark the occasion, the band will release its 5th studio album this spring. The album will be produced by Miklós Toldi, the lyrics will be written by Mátyás Szepesi, and the Lábas Vikiék will continue the tradition of including a song by János Bródy and a lyric by János Bródy. In addition to the material from the album, the group, who will be performing at the Hungarian House of Music for the first time, will also perform classic “Margaret hits” from their earlier album, which are favourites of the audience.
“On the fifth album we continue to try to realise our musical ideas with the help of Miki Toldi. We hope to create an exciting album with a renewed focus on live music compared to the previous material. It’s an ambitious undertaking, and once again we’re putting all our heart and soul into it,” Margaret Island informs the audience about the details of the upcoming album.
