Budapest Wine Festival 2024

This year, the Budapest Wine Festival will take place from 12-15 September, with delicious wines, programmes and a wonderful panoramic view of the Danube. One of Budapest’s biggest wine festivals will take place on the terraces of the magnificent Buda Palace. This year again, you can taste thousands of wines from more than 200 Hungarian and foreign exhibitors, as well as a wide range of professional programmes, gastronomic specialities and concerts.

The Budapest Wine Festival is Europe’s finest open-air wine event, attracting tens of thousands of visitors each year and attracting hundreds of exhibitors worldwide. This year, wine lovers were able to taste the best of Hungary’s wine culture from a diverse range of wines and sparkling wines from renowned Hungarian wineries, while South America was the guest of honour, showcasing the distinctive flavours and aromas of its wines. And speaking of flavours, the Gourmet Courtyard offered a colourful array of premium dishes and fantastic meals. A new chapter in the life of the festival was opened this year with the opening of the VIP terraces, among other things, which offered a number of privileges to our VIP guests. This year, the programmes focused on enriching the wine and gastronomic experience. The experience of previous years has shown that there is a need to learn about Hungarian wine culture and basic wine knowledge. It was with this in mind that the decision was taken to use the space that had been used in previous years to set up a stage for wine exhibitors and interactive professional programmes. This year, we have provided the original Budapest Wine Festival atmosphere with pleasant background music.
