Things to live for

Zoltán Bereczki’s one-man play will be shown several times in May at the Játékszín. Things Worth Living For will involve the audience in the performance, following a foreign model. Not yet a familiar genre in Hungary, it is interactive, touching and captivating, lacking improvisation. If you want to be part of a truly unique performance, this is the place for you!

Zoltán Bereczki is presenting a one-man show at the Játékszín. He is bringing an American-style performance of things worth living for – by Duncan MacMillan – in direct dialogue with the audience, interspersed with improvisations. I was seven when I started.I’ve put together a list of things to live for. Although my mum didn’t necessarily agree with them… Did you?”

The original monodrama is essentially a highly interactive monologue in which we get a glimpse of a little girl’s coming-of-age process and find out why she starts writing a list of life’s little pleasures.

Unlike traditional theatre forms, the audience is also invited to participate in the play’s miniature version.
