Comic Con will be back in Budapest on 18-19 May, bringing the worlds of movies, comics, animation and video games to life. Hungary’s biggest and most important pop culture event, you’re sure to find the most suitable and interesting programme for you. Meet Hollywood stars and get your picture taken or get an autograph, run into your favourite heroes and characters, meet the creators and creators of different comics, try out our different themed, exciting and entertaining programmes, browse our vendors or just enjoy our dedicated stage performances. It’s all up to you! In 2024, we will again strive to provide you with the best and most diverse event possible! Our aim is to bring as many foreign and Hungarian actors, comic creators, national and international merchants as possible! Comic book freaks, series and movie fanatics, cosplay and anime maniacs, young Jedi padawans, real superheroes, don’t make any other program! Celebrity guests include Jason Isaacs, who played Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, Alexander Ludwig of Vikings and The Hunger Games fame, and Deep Roy, who played the FATHER of the Oompa Loompa in 2005’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This year, for the first time, Board Game Expo, the companion event to Budapest Comic Con, will open its doors to everyone with a Budapest Comic Con ticket, free of charge. The event aims to give board game enthusiasts the chance to share their passion with other fans, not just in a small group. The Board Game Expo is organised in cooperation with the biggest Hungarian publishers to make sure you have a great time! This year marks the 5th anniversary of the KoreaON cultural festival, which will be a guest event at Budapest Comic Con for two full days, giving a taste of the diversity of Korean culture, courtesy of the Korean Cultural Centre and the Hanyou Foundation.

Among the performers, for the first time in our country, we welcome the true world star MayTree, the uncrowned kings of acapella, who will be joined by a variety of performers and shows: cooking show, modern and traditional dance, musical performances, taekwondo demonstrations, Korean beauty advice, and much more! And in the evening, a special ticket will be available for an exciting K-pop party.
