Solo evening by László Lakatos

This weekend, the Dumaszínház will not leave you without a laugh. This time, the theatre is hosting a solo performance by László Lakatos on 31 March. If you want an unforgettable afternoon of humour on the Easter long weekend, then this is the place for you!

Once upon a time, long ago, or not so long ago, or even now, in the far-far-away Corvin Promenade, in the heart of the eighth district, in Práter Street, there lived a family… A Holy Family, the Lakatos!

If my life were a fairy tale, I would start like this, but it’s not! As children we have dreams of what our families will be like, we can see in the movies how families can work, but this usually doesn’t cover reality. I had a wonderful childhood, I remember my friends having parties and get-togethers, and ours was a madhouse every day, as my father used to say. But my father used to say other things when I was little, like that I was found in a rubbish bin. At the age of 31, I have my own family, and not just any family! A wife, my son, my foster son, and two dogs in a 49 m2 fourth floor prefab apartment without a lift. We’ve seen families in stories and movies, now I’m going to introduce you to mine and how I live with my Holy Family.
