Located on Baross Street, Smashy is the newest burger joint in town. It’s close to the Central Library and many universities, so it’s no wonder it’s going to become a student favourite, which fortunately is backed up by the price of the burgers, where you can get a delicious juicy burger for just 2,000 forints. In addition to the equipment, the menu here is also quite minimal: there are only two burgers on the menu, one plain and one homemade, with a choice of fries, and only one size of fries. The drinks menu is not overthought either, with water and Coke on the menu, so we don’t have to think too much about that either. If you think that’s not enough for a street food place, let’s make sure. Here you really do get what you would expect from a great burger. Good meat, good buns, good sauce, and that’s it!
