Easter orienteering

Orienteering is not only an exciting outdoor challenge but also a shared adventure where participants do more than just run – they think, navigate, and discover new perspectives of City Park (Városliget) along the way.

This Easter special edition features three different courses: a 1-kilometer, a 2-kilometer, and a unique “matrix” course. Adventurous participants can choose any – or even all – of the routes to complete. The task is simple: using a map, find the hidden checkpoints as quickly as possible.

This playful yet active form of exercise is ideal for both children and adults – no wonder orienteering is one of the most popular “green” sports for families. No special training or gear is required: just comfortable sneakers, a water bottle, and a sense of adventure. The fresh spring air, close connection to nature, and the Easter theme ensure that every participant heads home with a smile.

Please note that participation is free, but pre-registration is required. The organizers ask that all interested individuals sign up in advance, as spaces are limited. To wrap up the event, every finisher will be rewarded with a sweet chocolate treat – a perfect ending to a sporty and festive Easter Saturday.
