After its establishment in 2007, the Budapest Jazz Club has quickly become a renowned and popular venue, both nationally and internationally, and by now it’s considered the centre of Budapest’s jazz scene. Top musicians such as Ravi Coltrane, Stacey Kent, Joshua Redman and Lonnie Smith have performed here. DownBeat, a prominent music magazine, has consistently ranked it in its lists of world-class jazz clubs. The club is also a strong supporter of young local talent, giving them the opportunity to participate in professional jazz events. What’s more, its cosy café and bistro-style restaurant make it a great choice before concerts, even for those just getting familiar with the genre. In 2024, there will be plenty of events to enjoy, from fantastic jazz concerts to theatre productions and family events.
