One summer evening each year, the Zugliget Chairlift stays open long after sunset, offering visitors a chance to admire Budapest’s illuminated skyline from above. On 11 July, the Night of the Chairlifts returns with extended operating hours until 1:00 AM, creating one of the city’s most unique summer experiences.
Alongside the spectacular views, live music at the lower station adds to the atmosphere, making the evening more than just a chairlift ride. Whether you’re visiting with friends, family or your partner, it’s a memorable way to experience Budapest from a completely different perspective.
-admission is available only with a special 5,000 HUF online round-trip ticket;
-the ticket includes one uphill and one downhill ride;
-children under 3 travel free of charge;
-after 7:00 PM, only the event ticket is accepted.
