Pingrumba Budapest

In the northwestern part of Széll Kálmán Square in Buda, Pingrumba, the little brother of Dobrumba in Pest, offers a new gastronomic experience. Opened on the site of a former Chinese restaurant, it now offers the flavours of the Mediterranean with an oriental twist, showcasing delicious food and drink specialities from Persia, West Asia and India. Pingrumba offers not only gastronomic delights but also a magical hospitality and cultural experience.

10 January:
Every fortnight on Wednesdays, Bottle Tasting is a way to share the joy of tasting and discovery with our wine-loving community. The event will feature our experienced recommender colleague Adam and we will explore new and emerging themes, with guest winemakers presenting the lots afterwards; and chatting with us in an informal setting.
At the Bottle Tasting, we’ll be opening wines from our range that are otherwise only available by the bottle.

Jan 14:
Our first morning in December proved that it’s great to start the day in Pingrumba, so on 14 January we open the doors again at 09:00 and set the tables. We’ll bring you hot or cold dishes from the breakfast menu of our big brother Dobrumba. For the most important meal of the day, we’ll pour the finest sparkling wines and Pét-Natai from our new natural wine list into your glasses, and our favourite DJs will provide the background music for the toasts.
We’ll be adding more games to our play corner to cater for our smallest guests. For the bigger ones, we’ve got our own merch colouring, markers, colourful crafts and kid-friendly treats.
