Kick off November with cosy cinema nights at the Pushkin and Tabán cinemas, where you can now get a glimpse into an exciting corner of the film world. Now in its 21st edition, the Italian Film Festival will showcase award-winning contemporary masterpieces. The films will be shown in their original language with Hungarian subtitles.
The program of the 21st Italian Film Festival includes the opening film of this year’s Venice Film Festival, the true story ‘Comandante’, and the multiple award-winning ‘La Stranezza’ starring Toni Servillo. The well-known Italian actor can also be seen in Adagio and Paolo Genovese’s latest work, ‘Il primo giorno della mia vita’.
Next up is ‘Rapito’, which won the Italian Golden Globe for Best Film, and the animated feature ‘Invelle’, which won an award at this year’s Venice Film Festival. ‘La Chimera’, winner of the Silver Medallion Award at the Telluride Film Festival with Isabella Rossellini, will also be screened.
