In the summer of 2025, Fantasy Expo returns to Bálna Budapest – one of Hungary’s biggest gatherings for fans of anime, manga, video games, and all things fantasy. This year, the spotlight is once again on cosplay, but the event will also be packed with thematic programs, workshops, stage shows, and a vibrant marketplace.
Programs & Highlights:
Cosplay Competitions & Shows – for both beginners and seasoned costumers.
Themed Exhibitors & Market – anime & gamer merchandise, handmade accessories, figurines, manga, and more.
Interactive Activities – gaming zones, tabletop RPGs, card games.
Stage Performances – with Hungarian and international guests, cosplay tips, and fan talks.
Workshops – costume making, makeup, prop building.
The organizers’ motto remains “By Fans, For Fans” – meaning the programs and exhibitors come directly from the community to celebrate pop culture together. You can join in costume or in casual clothes – either way, the atmosphere will sweep you away.
