After last year’s smash hit concert, one of the world’s most successful rappers, 50 Cent, is back in Budapest! On Wednesday 18 October, he will bring his biggest hits to the Budapest Arena stage, starting at 8 pm. This time, the rapper will give a terrific concert as part of The Final Lap tour, with which he celebrates the 20th anniversary of the release of his debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin’.
The Final Lap Tour will see the rap icon perform dozens of fan favourites and chart-topping hits, as well as songs he hasn’t played live in decades. In addition, his old friend Busta Rhymes will kick off the tour with shows at venues across the US and Europe.
Recognised as one of the most talented and prolific music artists of his time, 50 Cent rose to global fame with his record-breaking debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin’. Since then, he has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and won the most prestigious awards. 50 Cent has capitalised on his popularity to achieve unparalleled success as an entrepreneur, actor, director and producer. From Get Rich or Die Tryin’, one of the fastest-selling albums of all time, to one of hip-hop’s biggest deals with the sale of Vitaminwater, Curtis Jackson has been breaking records. He currently holds the record for highest rated series premiere on Starz with Power Book II: Ghost.
Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson now has a successful television and film career as a producer and actor, and in 2005 he founded G-Unit Film & Television, Inc., which produces content for a variety of channels and has sold dozens of shows to various networks.
In January 2020, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and won the NAACP Award for Best Director in the Drama Series category. At home, 50 Cent can currently be seen in The Expendables 4, which has been in cinemas since 21 September, but his songs for his various projects continue to top the charts.
