Between September 22 and 24, Hungarian poetry will come alive in the Vallai garden of the Rs9 Theater. The aim of the three-day festival is to bring together literature lovers, playwrights and representatives of contemporary Hungarian literature so that a dialogue can develop. Visitors can also meet many famous writers, including Lajos Nagy Parti, Péter Závada, Ádám Fekete, Péter Kárpáti, as well as literary scholarship winners from Erzsébetváros.

We look forward to welcoming you to our literary and theater festival on September 22, 23, 24, 2022 in the Vallai garden of the Rs9 Theater, where theater, literature and the opportunity to introduce new talents are the focus!

We look forward to hearing the works of Lajos Nagy Parti, Péter Závada, Ádám Fekete, Péter Kárpáti, as well as Erzsébetváros literary scholarship recipients read by professional actors. Also, if you are interested in the history of the creation of their works, their thinking about HUNGARY or LIFE itself.

In addition to the invited authors, it was also possible to become one of the participants of the festival through a tender. The House of Young Playwrights selected 2 texts by novice writers for the festival.
On September 22, the script of Eszter Keményfi’s – Crescendo-Corona and Péter Noblet’s – Látlelet and on September 23, Komáromy Bese’s – Ömleng and Anna Pinthér’ – Blue Butterfly could be seen by visitors.

We also welcome you if you are interested in how a script becomes a stage scene. The central question of our festival is how a written text is shaped by its reading and performance. We welcome interested parties with an open workshop led by the leading young creators of Hungarian theater art.
We look forward to spending a few good evenings in the Vallai garden of the Rs9 Theater, where contemporary Hungarian literature, theater and talent management play a leading role.

Entry to the festival is free, but registration is required.
