The ARC Exhibition, which can be visited day and night for a month, is about the freedom of creativity. It has been the most visited public exhibition in Hungary for years and is considered one of the most important opinion-forming events. The title of this year’s exhibition is “What are you up to?”, so the organisers were looking for posters that try to offer alternatives to the question of what mankind should be up to in the next few years. As usual, the exciting works will be on display in Bikás Park from 8 September to 8 October.
ARC is best known for the annual ARC public art competition and exhibition. Since 2000, it has been all about freedom of creativity. There is no limit to who can apply, and the exhibitions are open and free to view day and night. For 21 years, it has been involved in the social process as a visual culture event that presents creative ideas, opinions and shapes opinion. It is now an established part of Budapest’s cultural offer and its significance goes beyond the exhibitions. It is quoted, talked about, referred to.
It is the most visited public exhibition in Hungary.
