Rudas is the oldest thermal spa in the city, operating since 1520. It thus has a very rich historical background, the Turkish bath was built during the Turkish occupation of the country, and the spa at the end of the 19th century. Traditions are also considered important, because since 1936 only men can visit, and Tuesdays are reserved for women. On the weekend, however, it can also be visited by couples, and on Fridays and Saturdays, night bathing and parties also attract visitors. The unique panoramic rooftop sun terrace has become a symbol of the spa, but the place is also enriched by a jacuzzi, saunas, and steam cabins.
