Budapest Park Concerts

In September, Budapest Park comes alive once again! One of the most popular open-air concert venues in the city is once again welcoming audiences with a diverse musical program. Throughout the month, local favorites, legendary performers, anniversary shows, and special concert productions will take turns on the main stage, featuring representatives of several generations of Hungarian popular music in a unique summer atmosphere.

What makes Budapest Park special is that the concerts offer more than just a musical experience: the open-air setting, the lights, the energy of the crowd, and the evening atmosphere of Budapest all come together to make these occasions truly memorable. Whether you’re into classic hits, new favorites, or a special anniversary show, there’s something for every generation in August that makes a visit to the Park, located on the Pest side of Rákóczi Bridge, well worth it.

Concerts:

• Sept. 3 – Pogány Induló – modern Hungarian hip-hop/rap, a great choice if you’re looking for an energetic concert.
• Sept. 4 – Carson Coma + Kolibri – one of the best choices if you enjoy Hungarian indie/alternative music.
• Sept. 5 – ByeAlex és a Slepp + Nagy Bogi – a lighter evening filled with catchy hits.
• Sept. 9 – Bongor – alternative/hip-hop, followed by a NIGHTS OF BPP party.
• Sept. 10 – Bohemian Betyars × Parno Graszt – in my opinion, a particularly great choice if you’re looking for a dance-filled evening with Balkan and folk influences.
• Sept. 11 – Analog Balaton + Fllozz – more electronic, alternative sounds.
• Sept. 12 – Bëlga – a fun, humorous, classic Hungarian concert experience.
• Sept. 17 – Fran Palermo 15. + Hűvös – indie/alternative, a slightly more unusual choice.
• Sept. 18–19 – AZAHRIAH – two consecutive concert days, so you can expect a bigger-scale show.
• Sept. 24–25 – Beton.Hofi – Országos Citromale Gang Találkozó – hip-hop/rap, with an especially intense crowd atmosphere expected.
• Sept. 26 – Parov Stelar + Saya Noé – my international favorite of the month; electro-swing and electronic music performed with a live band.
• Sept. 30 – Lazarvs + Thy Catafalque – a great choice if you’re into heavier music and metal.
