The History Marathon will be held from April 7-10, 2025, where students can review the most important topics for the history exam at both intermediate and advanced levels. The event will be available in-person and online, ensuring everyone can comfortably prepare for the upcoming exams.
Dear Students! 🩵
🎬 On the edge of the Wild West, a notorious and feared bandit, the “Matura,” holds the local residents in fear. This relentless entity lurks in the shadows, waiting for the right moment to strike terror in your heart. The fear takes over – questions, seemingly impossible answers, and the mounting pressure as each day brings you closer to the inevitable showdown. But there is someone brave enough to face the fear head-on, someone who refuses to stand idly by while the bandit intimidates others – the History Marathon, who, like a sheriff 🤠, is ready this year to do whatever it takes to put an end to the nightmare and restore order in the region and in the minds of all! 🎬
The History Section 🩵, as always, will not let go of your hand, so this year, we are hosting the History Marathon 🗓 from April 7-10, 2025. During this event, we will collectively review the most common topics that appear on both intermediate and advanced history exams. ✅️
Due to the high interest in previous years, this year you will have the option to follow the event in two “locations”: at the C building of the Budapest Corvinus University🏫 in person, or 💻 online, from the comfort of your home, as the entire event will be streamed on the Section’s YouTube channel! 📺
The presenters will prepare talks ranging from 30 to 70 minutes, summarizing the most frequently covered topics from past exams ➡️ in a concise and clear manner.⬅️ The entire curriculum required for the new National Core Curriculum (NAT) for both intermediate and advanced history exams will be reviewed, offering you a perfect recap. The talks are expected to take place between ⏰ 14:00 and 20:00.
➡️ The full schedule, including the list of presenters and more detailed information, will be shared soon!
The most important part: our event is completely ❗️FREE and OPEN❗️ to everyone, so feel free to invite your classmates, friends, neighbors, or anyone else – don’t let them miss out!
For in-person attendance, seating is limited, so ❗️registration is required❗️
You can register your intent to attend by filling out the form below, which you can submit by March 30: [form link].
Are you ready to start your greatest battle yet, with knowledge as your most valuable weapon? 🏃♂️ If the answer is yes, we look forward to welcoming you, with lots of love, both online and in person, for a great time of history revision! ✅️
