There are two variants – light and dark and both are delicious. The chocolate one is fantastic as well. We just can not get enough of it. They provide gluten-free cones, excellent sorbets.

Koun Gelato is a lovely family business that appreciates every single customer who chooses to stand in a line for their ice cream. Every single ice cream in Koun Gelato is handmade and produced from high-quality ingredients. You can enjoy the lovely little piece of Italy in the middle of the historical center of Bratislava, on Paulínyho 1, From Tuesday to Sunday from 11:00 to 20:00. You might want to prepare yourself for a little bit of a waiting time since Koun is known not only for its fantastic ice cream, but also for its quite long lines. But it is worth it.

Luculus has been working and developing the “art of ice cream” since 1954, making it one of the oldest ice cream shops in Bratislava. And you might think, that the oldest doesn’t necessarily mean the best. But Luculus is constantly developing and working on new fantastic flavors and making sure their ice cream is top-notch. We just love their salty caramel ice cream, and their communication on social media.

We think that I Nonni Cremeria has probably the largest selection of ice cream from the ice cream shops, which we mention in this article, together with Luculus. Nonni Cremeria is not only gelateria, but also a bar, which we find as a perfect combination. A lovely place that can be found in the historical centre of Bratislava and a place where you can enjoy a high-quality ice cream made of 100% natural ingredients. And you know what? You can enjoy not just ice cream, but also good coffee, drinks and fantastic cakes. They also offer a nice range of vegan ice creams. Is there anything more we need to say?

A newcomer to our list of the best ice cream places in Bratislava is Ice Cream Cookies. It is located in Vrakuna. But we have heard so much about it that we have decided to try. And we were pleasantly surprised. They have a great selection of non-traditional flavors such as sorbets from red melon, blackberries, ice cream cookies, bounty, lime. As well as traditional and delicious flavors of salted caramel, vanilla, nougat, banana, white chocolate, etc. You really have something to look forward to!
