Celebrate with us one of the most iconic musicals of all time – SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER! The most famous musical and theatrical adaptation with the world-famous hits of the Bee Gees is coming exclusively to Slovakia!

The cult film Saturday Night Fever (1977) starring John Travolta became a worldwide phenomenon and launched not only the disco era, but also Travolta’s acting career. The success of the film classic inspired a musical adaptation of the same name, which conquered London’s West End and Broadway, and subsequently stages in Argentina, the Netherlands, Mexico, Korea and Spain.

Saturday Night Fever tells the story of Tony Manero, a young man from Brooklyn whose everyday life is filled with frustration, conflict and a lack of perspective. He finds an escape from reality every Saturday night on the dance floor, where he becomes the king of the disco. The story is based on the real problems of youth in the 1970s – the search for identity, the desire for a better life and escape into the world of music and dance. The film was so inspiring that Brad Pitt, in his own words, decided to become an actor after watching it.

The music for the musical features the immortal work of the Bee Gees, including mega-hits such as Stayin’ Alive, Night Fever, How Deep Is Your Love and You Should Be Dancing. The soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever became one of the best-selling albums of all time and ushered in a new era of disco music.
