Make yourself and your children happy and go together to a family performance of Antonín Dvořák’s popular opera based on the fairy tale by Božena Němcová!

The cheerful story of one of Dvořák’s best operas is full of movement and humour in the production by the young director Zuzana Fischer, which beautifully blends the traditional fairytale world with the present day. It is an attractive family opera title full of dynamism and movement thanks to the dancers, acrobats and parkour players.

No one wants to dance with the quirky and somewhat cheeky Katya at a party. Angry, she declares that she would dance with the devil. He does indeed arrive, in the form of the Marbuelo, who takes her to hell. The clever Shepherd Jirko manages to bring Káča back down to earth and at the same time saves the beleaguered Princess from hell.

You can enjoy this hilarious family opera about the cheeky and fearless Káča, the wise Jirka and the cunning devil Marbuelo, which blends the traditional fairy tale world with reality, on 17, 18 and 19 January 2025.
