Join us and enjoy exercising in the fresh air. The ČSOB Bratislava Marathon Winter Series is an annual running event held in Bratislava on four dates.
The marathon includes various race categories, including a full marathon, half marathon, and shorter distances, making it accessible to both professional athletes and recreational runners.
The marathon route leads through picturesque parts of Bratislava and showcases the city’s sights.
Its goal is to promote health, fitness, and the joy of running while strengthening a sense of community. In addition to the races, there are often accompanying events and activities for spectators and families.
The ČSOB Winter Series consists of four separate events and its mission is to prepare runners for the spring running weekend – the ČSOB Bratislava Marathon 2026.
Dates of individual races in the ČSOB Winter Series 2025/2026:
🎅 St. Nicholas Edition – December 6, 2025, Eurovea
🤴 Epiphany Edition – January 10, 2026, Vodárenská záhrada
❤️ Valentine’s Day Edition – February 7, 2026
💐 International Women’s Day Edition – March 7, 2026, Eurovea
🏃♀️ Disciplines: 5 km (15+), 10 km (18+), children’s races 300–800 m according to age
🏃♂️ This year, we are again offering two ways to participate in the ČSOB Winter Series:
1) Classic version
On a specific date and at a specific location, together with hundreds of other runners in the great atmosphere of an organized event.
2) Virtual version
You can run wherever you are within a predetermined time frame. 5 km and 10 km are competitive disciplines, while children’s runs are non-competitive.
🏆 Evaluation: Each race is evaluated separately, but if you complete all four runs in the same discipline and version, you will also be included in the overall ranking of the ČSOB Winter Series.
