Spring Good Market

Another great event awaits you in May, the Good market on Panenská Street. Mark May 16 on your calendars. You can already look forward to the vendors, a wide variety of food, and an interesting program!

🌟 The Good Market, which has been revitalizing the city’s public spaces since 2011 and supporting small-scale producers and high-quality local products from diverse cultures, is organized by the civic association Punkt. In addition to stalls offering quality food, design, books, accessories, and clothing, the Good Market also provides experiences in the form of art, music, workshops, and meetings with inspiring people.

🌞 At Punkt, they have long been dedicated to topics related to cities, neighborhoods, and community life. In addition to the Dobrý trh, the organizers publish the CTZN magazine, run the CTZN Academy, and work for both the public and private sectors in the areas of participation and placemaking.

We would like to inform visitors to the Dobrý trh that photographs or videos may be taken during the event. By participating in the event, visitors give the organizer their consent to such recording.

Traditionally without waste

Part of the Good Market is to produce as little waste as possible. Since 2017, the organisers from OZ Punkt have been fully dedicated to this topic. After five years of improvement, we are able to sort out 95% of the waste, thanks to the festival’s partners and volunteers. We are also pleased that other event organisers are interested in our experience so that we can spread it further into the world.

There will be popular sorting stations at every entrance to the Good Market Zone with volunteers on hand to advise which waste belongs where. In addition to the sorting of paper, plastic and glass, this year, thanks to the cooperation with OLO a Slovensko zálohuje, there will also be a collection of kitchen waste, backed-up bottles and cans.
