? Rocketman
Rocketman is a musical fantasy that tells the life story of one of the most successful musicians of our time. Elton John always sang like a god, dressed like no one else before and lived like a true rocker. Before he was Elton John, his name was Reginald. He was a bespectacled little dandy of a boy who didn’t get along very well with his parents. But he was great at the piano. In the beginning, he was just an accompanist for the more successful musicians, until he met his soulmate in the form of Bernie Taupin, a lyricist. From that encounter, it was a steep road to the absolute top, perhaps too fast and too steep to manage without alcohol and drugs. The latter were especially helpful at times when Elton felt alone, abandoned and unloved, which happened to him practically all the time. It’s just that when you’re a rocker and a showman at heart, you just sing your way out of every problem.
