The Old Town Library on Gaštanova Street will be transformed into a bazaar – small traders will sell their sorted toys, books or products for symbolic prices.
Children, have you added toys and books to your children’s room after Christmas and need to make room for them on the shelf? Sort out the toys you no longer play with or the books you no longer read, come and sell them at the Old Town Library Exchange and earn your first money. You can also sell your handmade products 📚🎲🧩
The event will take place on January 25, 2025 from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm at the Old Town Library at 19 Chestnut Street.
Due to capacity reasons, it is necessary to register in advance.
HOW WILL THE CHILDREN’S EXCHANGE BE RUN?
👉 Little traders must bring a blanket to spread their goods on (you can also bring a table or suitcase to keep your items for sale).
👉 The price for the items you sell should be symbolic (maximum 6€, so we don’t recommend selling more valuable items).
👉 Unsold items should be taken away (or you can donate them to other children).
👉 We have chairs available for seating, we also have tables for the quickest bidders.
👉 Only children are allowed to sell.
👉 We do not sell clothes, shoes or food.
👉 We encourage you to bring small coins to give out.
👉 There is no charge to participate in the auction.
Children will learn:
👉 recycle unwanted items,
👉 how the world of finance works and experience the atmosphere of markets,
👉 interact with their “customers”.
