The world of YouTube and its performers – YouTubers, from quirky characters with weird humour to the world’s top performers like a man named PewDiePie, who “only” comments on a computer game he himself plays. And yet he’s followed by fifty million people! But we also see a Czech family where dad, mum and older brother all have their own YouTube show, but the biggest star is their nine-year-old son Risha.
But we’ll also see a Slovak GoGoMan, moms with babies, a Russian troll from a disinformation site, and a hacker in the deepest hell of the internet, the Deep Web and the Dark Web. And Mark Zuckerberg will come too!
Digital comedy in quick and short clips with songs, with absurdist humour Made in GUnaGU.
Behind the humour of this play, we may also feel the power of disinformation websites that spread conspiracy theories and fake news, and suddenly we don’t understand why so many people believe everything they read on the internet and have no interest in checking the news at all? What else will the new technologies bring us? Should we look forward to it or be afraid of it?
