From July 10th to 12th, the city of Vienna will be transformed into a surfskate festival.
Surfskate Vienna brings surf culture directly to the streets of Vienna, offering a wide range of workshops led by international instructors. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a seasoned skater, this project caters to all levels: from absolute beginners stepping onto a board for the first time to experienced riders perfecting their maneuvers.
The program kicks off on Friday with the Surf Technique Workshop from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
Entry costs €40, but there are also free events.

Each maneuver is analyzed using the Concrete Surfers method: compression, rotation, maintaining eye contact, and pushing off – each with repetitions and corrections. Bottom turn, top turn, cutback, snaps. You’ll leave with that feeling you’ve been missing on your last surf session!
Followed by a wide selection of workshops, running until 9:00 PM, and then starting again on Saturday from 10:00 AM.
Don’t miss the after-party on Saturday evening at 8:30 PM!
And on Sunday, there’s a girls-only class at 3:00 PM and a community Swim&Skate event at 6:00 PM.
