Between May 23–25, 2026, the Jazz & Wine Festival returns to the cloister courtyard of the Margitszigeti Színház, in the Water Tower courtyard.
Organized by the Hungarian Jazz Federation and the Margitsziget Theatre, the festival comes back for the third time after previous successful editions, bringing together high-quality jazz music and Hungary’s diverse wine culture in a unique, multi-day event.
Program
The festival opens on May 22 with a special grand stage concert by two-time Grammy Award winner Kurt Elling at 20:00. Ticket holders can enter the festival area from 17:00.

Main evening concerts require separate tickets, but those tickets also grant access to the festival area on the same day.
Wine & gastronomy
The festival showcases wineries from all six Hungarian wine regions, offering visitors the chance to explore the country’s diverse wine culture in one place.
The Tokaj wine region is the featured guest this year, including wineries such as Majoros Birtok és Borbár, alongside producers from Lake Balaton, Pannon and other regions.
The experience is complemented by pálinka tastings and a selection of cheese and gourmet food stands.
