Does this sound familiar? After we started publishing your real online conversations, you began asking us what to do about it. We are social beings, and so it is in our nature to constantly form relationships: romantic, professional, friendly, or familial. Cell phones and messaging apps have entered our relationships. As a result, modern relationships and communication are going through a turbulent phase, and we’re learning to navigate it as we go. We’re all in this together, and we want to talk about it and try to make sense of it.

About the project:

The now-iconic project #terapiesdilenim has carved out its own path and secured a firm place in the online world—and beyond. The Sharing Therapy project has its own unique book series (two books and an audiobook), an audio series on audioteka.cz, and inspired the creation of a live-action series for Mall. Building on its success on Instagram and in book form, Ester Geislerová and Honza Vojtek followed up with the lecture Therapy Through Sharing LIVE, which had around 50 performances in the Czech Republic.

“Together with expert and therapist Honza Vojtek, we prepared a lecture on relationships and communication. Finally, I can talk to someone in a professional way about what we gossip about with friends—someone who knows what it’s all about—and thanks to TS, I’m learning alongside the audience how not to repeat old mistakes. We help everyone who is interested or troubled by these issues find a path forward or a way to bridge the gap. We outline basic concepts about relationships and debunk myths in a modern and engaging way,” says Ester Geislerová, the creator of the concept and visuals.

Honza Vojtko: “The world is changing. We live in an era that allows us to choose partners based on our feelings and love; we don’t have to marry for the sake of combining two estates. Unfortunately, however, this freedom often complicates our lives. Our choice requires us to know ourselves. To know who we are, and thus recognize who our ideal partner is. And to that end, this amazing world constantly supplies us with new gadgets and technologies, which are good servants but bad masters. And since we don’t know ourselves, we often succumb to these gadgets and take the path of least resistance. Even toward those closest to us, our partners, and thus we make fateful mistakes. But we’re not alone in this—it happens to all of us! People learn best from the mistakes of others, in which they recognize themselves. We’ll show them to you.
