On Sunday, 23 March, the Hungarian House of Music is hosting a special event. The Japan Day, organised in conjunction with the upcoming Osaka Expo, aims to introduce visitors to the rich heritage of Japanese culture and contemporary art.
Programmes:
– Family Matinee Concert: \”A Stormy Night\” – from 12:00
o The concert is a musical play that introduces children and families to the world of Japanese music education in a fun way.
– \”TAMAKKO-ZA\” concert with drum and drama – from 14:00
o This program showcases the fusion of traditional Japanese culture and arts, with over 40 Japanese performers.
– \”KIZUNA – Kötelék\” concert – from 16:00
o The concert aims to connect tradition with the future and showcase the diversity of Japanese culture.
Free Programs:
There will also be a number of free activities throughout the day, such as:
– Green Tea Ceremony
– Kimono and karate demonstrations
– Japanese games and challenges
These programmes offer the opportunity to learn and experience Japanese culture in depth.
