Orchid and Bromeliad Exhibition

Between November 10 and 13, Vajdahunyad Castle will host an impressive flower exhibition. The focus of the event will be orchids and bromeliads, which will appear in many versions at the exhibition, and you will also be able to discover special specimens. The program is brought to the public by the Hungarian Orchid Society, the purpose of which is to help the members of the association who deal with the protection, cultivation and reproduction of orchid species, researching their physiological phenomena as a profession or as a hobby.

Plants with beautiful flowers, many colors and shapes. Be it the widely available, easy-to-keep Butterfly Orchids or the hard-to-flower special specimens that only bloom with collectors, we love them all very much. In November, we will bring and show our feared treasures to visitors to Vajdahunyad Castle. Come and have a look!
What is new is that you can buy tickets for weekdays cheaper than for weekends. If you can, see the exhibition on Thursday or Friday.

Opening hours:
between November 10 and 13
on Thursday, November 10, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., cash register closes at 5:30 p.m.!
November 11 and 12, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., checkout closes at 6:30 p.m.!
Sunday, November 13, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., cash register closes at 5:30 p.m.!
However, the Museum’s permanent exhibitions can only be visited until 5 p.m.!

Ticket prices on November 10 and 11, Thursday and Friday:
Adult ticket: HUF 2,200
Pensioner and child ticket: 1,500
Family ticket: HUF 5,500 (two adults + 1,2,3 children)
Group discount ticket: HUF 1,500
Group discount for groups over 15 people, pre-registered.

Ticket prices for November 12 and 13, Saturday and Sunday:
Adult ticket: HUF 2,500
Pensioner and child ticket: HUF 1,700
Family ticket: HUF 5,900 (two adults + 1,2,3 children)
