Christmas Night Run

On Saturday, December 14, 2024, Prague will host the 9th Annual Charity Christmas Run.

This unique event, held under the patronage of the Mayor of Prague 1, Mgr. Terezie Radoměřská, and Prague City Councilor Mgr. et Mgr. Antonín Klecanda, promises a combination of sport, fun, and helping others.

The 5 km run will lead participants through the historic center of Prague. A functional headlamp is mandatory for the start, and a Santa Claus red hat is recommended, which can also be purchased on-site.

Each participant will receive a unique medal, but most importantly, they will support a good cause. Proceeds from the Fénix Run will go to eight nonprofit organizations, including Za Sklem o.s., Společné cesty, Žlutá stužka, Černí koně, Nadační fond La VIDA LOCA, Epigenteo, Fuck Cancer, and Nadační fond Modrý Hroch.

The event is suitable for children, making it ideal for families to join. The registration fee ranges from 200 to 700 CZK, which not only supports charity but also leaves participants with a medal and a T-shirt.

Program:

14:30 – 15:30: Registration of children + Fénix Run
14:30 – 16:15: Registration and bib pick-up for the 5 km race
15:30 – 18:00: Opening of NN storage lockers
16:00: Start of the 700 m NN KIDS CHRISTMAS RUN (non-competitive) + NO FOOT NO STRESS (for disabled participants)
16:15: Start of the Fénix Run (1.5 km, non-competitive)
16:45 – 16:50: Warm-up with Santa
16:55 – 16:59: Race briefing
17:00: Start of the 5 km ČEZ CHRISTMAS NIGHT RUN
17:45 – 18:00: Announcement of the 5 km winners
18:00: End of the event
Christmas atmosphere, lights, movement, and the chance to bring joy to yourself and others await participants on December 14 from 14:30 to 18:00 in Prague.
