The Schatmansdorf Civic Association in cooperation with the SNM – Historical Museum has prepared four long weekends full of crafts and wonderful atmosphere in the courtyard of Bratislava Castle!

The SNM – Historical Museum recommends you visit the interior of the castle during Advent, where you won’t want to miss:

🎄🎄🎄 CHRISTMAS

On the ground floor you will find examples of folk nativity scenes from our collections. Specifically in the showcases you will see nativity scenes from the 19th – 20th century from Banská Štiavnica, Poprad, Orava, as well as modern nativity scenes by contemporary carvers. Every Advent Sunday from 14:00 to 17:00, on the 3rd floor of the “At the Fox”, there is a CHRISTMAS CREATIVE WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN.

✨ THE LATEST

The two newest exhibitions can be found on the ground floor of the castle. In the Knights’ Hall you can get acquainted with the Secrets of the Universe in glass by Jan Zoričák, and at the main entrance the exhibition NE/SPÚTANÍ ’89, dedicated to the youth in the 80s and the Velvet Revolution, starts.

On the 3rd floor you will find the exhibition History of Slovakia: from prehistory to the Middle Ages, the opportunity to climb to the top of the Crown Tower, as well as beautiful ceramics that will tell the story of the Holíč Manufactory.

SNM – Historical Museum is open every day except Tuesday from 10:00 to 18:00 (last entry at 17:00).
