Night of Music

On 16 November, Budapest’s trendy cafés and pubs will once again be filled with classical music. This year’s Night of Music will celebrate the city’s 150th birthday with free mini-concerts. For the first time in the event’s history, international performers will be added to the line-up, including international students from the Liszt Academy and young foreign artists organised by the embassies of partner countries.

Free mini-concerts will be held on both sides of the Danube at the most unmissable classical music event of the autumn. Dozens of venues will be filled with music, not only in the city centre but also in outlying districts.
The informal mini-concerts start in the late afternoon and run until midnight in some venues. Participation is free everywhere, but it’s best to book your table as soon as possible as places will sell out quickly.
