Vajdahunyad Castle will host an impressive flower exhibition from 9 to 12 November. The event will focus on the stunning orchids and bromeliads of South America, with a number of unique specimens on display. In addition, the organisers are also planning a fair where visitors will be able to buy orchids, bromeliads and tillandsias.
November offers a great program for lovers of quality wines, namely the Grand Tasting of Bordeaux red wines. More than 60 wineries will be waiting for visitors at the Corinthia Hotel, where you will be able to taste a variety of excellent drinks. Immerse yourself in the world of Bordeaux reds on 25 November.
Another corner of the film world will be on show in November at the Puskin and Tabán cinemas. The twenty-first Italian Film Festival will present award-winning contemporary masterpieces. The films will be presented in their original language with Hungarian subtitles.
A brand new market is waiting for you on Saturday at Eötvös10. Visitors will be able to choose from a selection of special objects, jewellery, clothes and accessories made by Hungarian designers. The organisers are also preparing delicious snacks and wonderful music.
On 5 November, a fun-filled Games Day will take place at the Groupama Arena. After the Game of the Country competition, this year’s event will be another fun event where participants can try out all the games entered. Games for different age groups and surprises will be waiting for the families who come to play on Playful Sunday.
The Small Garden Market opens the grey November with a colourful event. On Sunday, plant sellers and designer exhibitors will be on hand with a wide range of products. The fun market will once again be held at the Madhouse.
From 29 November to 3 December, you can see this year’s most outstanding Israeli and Jewish films. The film festival will feature a wide range of masterpieces, as well as exciting accompanying programs. The films will be screened in their original language with English and Hungarian subtitles at the Puskin and Art Cinema.
For the eleventh time, the Festival and Fair of Board Games will take place, this time at the Millenáris. Board game enthusiasts can try out hundreds of different and exciting games during the two-day event. What’s more, you will also be able to buy the games you loved.
This month’s Makers’ Market will take place on 5 November at the Marczibányi Cultural Centre, where visitors will be able to browse through the unique objects of forty local artists. There will also be an acoustic concert and workshop.
Delicious coffee, tasty pastries, oriental dishes and excellent Czech beers await guests at the Kelet Café. The place is also home to a number of great books, so if a book catches your eye, you can swap it for one you’ve brought with you. It is also a frequent venue for great concerts, exhibitions and performances.
