This exhibition is a completely new multimedia spectacle that presents Gustav Klimt’s world-famous artworks in a way never seen before. The exhibition depicts the origins and stories behind Klimt’s works. The artist’s paintings are enlarged several times using light installations and projections and displayed as moving animations on the walls. More than 200 of Klimt’s works will be featured, as well as the Austrian painter’s life story.
The exhibition highlights Klimt’s works’ rich colours and makes the virtual illusion appear extremely real. His architectural monuments are also holographically erected. Above all, the exhibition’s interplay of music and art is distinctive. Calm melodies accompany the video animations of the paintings and buildings. Klimt’s works, such as “The Kiss” and “Portrait of Adele,” can be therefore seen in a new light.
