Hohensalzburg Fortress Virtual Tour

The Fortress Hohensalzburg is a castle situated on top of a hill in the Austrian city of Salzburg. It is one of the largest medieval castles in Europe. The castle was originally built in the year 1077 and over the course of upcoming centuries, it was gradually expanded into its current form. One of the peculiarities of this place is the world’s oldest operational railway that has been built in the area to transport the goods and supplies form the lower courtyard up to the top of the hill.
