Hellbrunn Palace Virtual Tour

Hellbrunn Palace is an enchanting place built in baroque style and is situated near Morzg which one of the districts of the city of Salzburg, the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This villa served as a summer residence for the Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg who never stayed there during the night, therefore surprisingly no bedroom is to be found on this property.

The place was named after the springs which supplied the area. The name “Hellbrunn” literally means “clear springs”. The most interesting thing about this place is the waterpark that belongs to the property and its trick fountains which provide visitors with a great deal of fun. The whole waterpark was designed by Markus Sittikus who had an idea to install a series of spray water mechanisms into the sculptures and fountains which are a big surprise to some of the guests who decide to visit here.

The neighboring zoo together with the famous stone theatre are certainly worth visiting. The Hellbrunn palace and its ground are so famous and well known with the Austrian people that the government of Austria decided to mint a special collector 10 euro coin.
