The winter market at Riesenradplatz starts on November 21, 2025 and takes place directly in the Vienna Prater, near the famous Giant Ferris Wheel.
Visitors can look forward to an atmospheric Christmas atmosphere with festive lighting, winter decorations and numerous market stalls. The offerings range from traditional Christmas gifts and handmade products to culinary specialties such as mulled wine, punch, roasted almonds and hearty snacks.
In addition to the classic shopping experience, the winter market also offers entertainment programs for children and adults: children can enjoy carousels, games and craft stations, while adults can experience live music, Advent shows and themed events.
