Museum of Change

Museum of Change is a new, extraordinary art installation in Vienna, located in the historic building of the former main post office – Postgasse 10, 1010 Vienna. This innovative project combines art, technology, and nature to create a unique experience, exploring the themes of change, humanity, and the environment. The museum opened in October 2025, is open 24 hours a day, and admission is free.

The entire area has been transformed into a multisensory experience. More than fifty projectors, over a hundred speakers, and fog machines create a captivating atmosphere where images, sounds, and lights come together into a living artwork. Using artificial intelligence, continuously evolving projections illustrate the cycle of life, the changing natural world, and human development.

The exhibition is divided into four thematic worlds:

Human – exploring the connection between body, mind, and society
Environment – the relationship between humans and nature
Microsphere – the invisible and smallest elements that shape our lives
Macrosphere – a view into the universe and infinity

Each area shows how everything is interconnected and how change is a part of our existence. Visitors can freely move through the space, pause, observe, and follow the sound and light effects, creating the feeling of being part of the transformation.

A special highlight is the contrast between past and future: the old post office, once a symbol of communication in the past, now becomes a place for digital dialogue and reflection on our shared future.

Visiting is especially recommended after dark, when the projections and light effects are at their most striking. The museum is not a traditional museum with exhibits but an open space for wonder, reflection, and immersive experience.
