For ten days, Vienna transforms into the design capital when the 20th edition of Vienna Design Week takes place from September 25 to October 4, 2026. As Austria’s largest international design festival, it attracts creatives, professionals, and curious minds from all over the world.
The program covers a broad spectrum of disciplines: from product and furniture design to graphic design, architecture, and digital innovation, all the way to social design. Exhibitions, guided tours, talks, and interactive workshops invite visitors to experience how design shapes everyday life and develops solutions for the future.
A hallmark of the festival is the use of unusual locations throughout Vienna – apartments, shops, and public spaces become temporary design stages. Each year, a specific district takes center stage, creating an exciting dialogue between design and the city.
