Vienna Design Week

For ten days, Vienna turns into the capital of design when the Vienna Design Week takes place from September 26 to October 5, 2025. As Austria’s largest international design festival, it attracts creatives, professionals, and curious visitors from all over the world.

The program spans a wide spectrum of design disciplines: from product and furniture design to graphic design, architecture, digital innovation, and social design. Exhibitions, guided tours, talks, and interactive workshops invite visitors to experience how design shapes everyday life and future solutions.

A hallmark of the festival is its focus on unusual venues across Vienna – transforming apartments, shops, and public spaces into temporary design stages. Each year, a different district of Vienna becomes the festival’s special focus, creating a dialogue between design and the city itself.

Whether you are a design professional, a student, or simply curious about new creative ideas, the Vienna Design Week offers countless opportunities for inspiration, exchange, and discovery.
