Mistfest at Mistplatz Hernals

Every September, the Mistfest is a festival for the whole family with information stands, a children’s flea market, a dung quiz, exhibitions, demonstrations and music. Every year, thousands of Viennese come to the Dung Festival to find out about climate protection and the services offered by the Department of Waste Management, Street Cleaning and Vehicle Fleet (MA 48) and other institutions. Visitors can find out about the 48er-Tandler or test their knowledge on waste and environmental topics in the dung quiz. There will be a stand dedicated to the current topic of “Zero Waste”.

Especially for children, the exhibited vehicles from the MA 48 fleet are an attraction.

Registration either directly at the Children’s Flea Markets in August and September or by telephone from 2 weeks before the date on +43 677 64 00 97 47 (Monday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.)
