Krapfenwaldbad Outdoor Swimming Pool

This location is a favourite summer spot for many locals. Krapfenwaldbad, located on top of a hill in the centre of the Föhrenwald forest, is a popular choice for many. As Vienna’s highest swimming pool, it offers a breathtaking perspective of the entire city. While relaxing by the pool, you can see all of the city’s characteristic features such as Stephansdom, Votivkirche, Riesenrad, and Donauturm from above. Pine trees give generous shade virtually all over the pretty wide meadow, which is surrounded by forest on all sides.

Krapfenwaldbad features a lap pool, an adventure pool, family and children’s pools (0.70-0.90m deep), a children’s playground, a football pitch, a beach volleyball court, gymnastic equipment, table tennis tables, and several sun chairs. There is also a restaurant and an espresso bar.
