The Canadian pop/rock singer and songwriter Avril Lavigne aka Sk8er-Girl became an international star in the 2000s with her skatepunk image. Especially her single “Skater Boy” is now really known by everyone and is still sung along, albeit incorrectly, but loudly and with full enthusiasm. At the age of 17, she became a teen idol and also revolutionised the fashion world with her tank tops and her, always lightly tied, ties. Her latest album “Head Above Water” is especially important for her as she connects it with her illness. We are happy that she is feeling better again, because this is the only way she can visit us here in Austria.
