Fire! Orchestra

Fire! Orchestra has been an institution grounded in innovation and creativity since its inception in Stockholm in 2013. To quote the music magazine Sonic: “…a magical explosion, a memory for life, a display of free jazz and soul.”

Now in its 14th year, the ever-changing Fire! Orchestra are back with their most ambitious album yet – the triple album Echoes. Recorded at the legendary Atlantis studio in Stockholm and beautifully mixed by Jim O’Rourke, Echoes emerges as “a two-hour work of epic proportions: full of energy, violence and beauty, historical musical awareness, outstanding musicianship, spiritual free jazz, beauty, improvisational and compositional courage, sheer pleasure and more. Simply another masterpiece” (Martin Schray, Freejazzblog).

Now the founders Mats Gustafsson and Johan Berthling and their 15 band members bring Echoes to Fasching!
