“In this frozen old city of silver and stone”, Jason Isbell sang about Stockholm in the song of the same name. Fittingly, he returns to the city on November 8. When winter is once again upon us.
Isbell made his name in Americana heaven as a member of the Drive-By Truckers. But it was as a solo artist that he would truly emerge as an extraordinary performer with a rare knack for careful songwriting and storytelling. Now he stands as one of the most important and influential artists in contemporary Americana music.
