Have you ever wondered what it is like to celebrate the Day of the Dead like Latino people? Sugar skulls, fabulous dress, lots of flowers all around.. Now you have the chance to visit this festival in Stockholm at Etnographic Museum of Stockholm!

Don’t miss our traditional celebration of the Mexican holiday Dia de muertos – Day of the Dead!

A weekend of Mexican folk dance and music, market, viewing, sacrificial altar ofrenda, film screening, and creative activities in the museum’s creative workshop.

Free admission.

Music and dance performance “Fiesta en el cementario/Fest in the cemetery” will be performed several times during the weekend. Performers include the folk dance group Mexico Lindo and the Mariachi orchestra Fiesta México.

Welcome to the Museum of Ethnography and the traditional celebration of the Mexican holiday Dia de muertos – Day of the Dead!

Where: the Museum of Ethnography
Price: free admission to the museum. Ticket prices for the dance and music performance: adults 130 SEK, children 6-18 years 50 SEK, children under 6 years participate free of charge. Please note that free tickets must also be pre-booked.
