On the sixth of August 2022, it’s time for a brand new one-day festival in Stockholm. Under the name Rock på Skansen, no less than The Hooters, George Thorogood & The Destroyers and Blues Pills will put rock music in the spotlight on the Solliden stage for one night.

– The Hooters were formed in Philadelphia in 1980 by Eric Bazilian and Rob Hyman and they are both still in the band more than 40 years later. The band has always done well in Sweden and songs like 500 Miles and Boys Will Be Boys have been big hits here.

– George Thorogood & The Destroyers from Delaware made their debut back in 1974. Over the years, they have had made plenty of immortal songs such as Bad To The Bone, Get A Haircut, I Drink Alone and One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer. Is there any more perfect music to play air guitar to?

– Örebro band Blues Pills, fronted by singer Elin Larsson, have released three studio albums that have earned them a huge fan base across much of the world. The latest album Holy Moly was released last year.

With these three incredibly strong names, Rock på Skansen will be a night that no fan of classic rock wants to miss.

Entrance to Skansen is included in your ticket, so you can visit the park at your leisure before the concert starts.
